Title: 50% enffaced and funneling
Post by: Babyboy32518 on December 22, 2017 at 09:18 AM
Hi! I am a FTM and have had a roller coaster of a pregnancy so far. I have systemic lupus and I am currently 26w5d with our little miracle boy. At week 15 I started have contractions and my cervix shortened to 2.5. At that time I was put on modified bedrest and progesterone suppositories. Yesterday we had one of our follow up visits and my cervix is now 1.8, 50% enffaced and has started to funnel. My MFS said if my cervical length goes down anymore next week I will get steroid shots to help develop his lungs and if I am dialated then I will be put on hospital bedrest. I am freaking out, completely scared and looking for some positive stories and suggestions on keeping this little guy in for as long as possible. On top of it I have come down with a sinus infection and started coughing last night which I know can effect the cervical length as well. Thank you in advance for any responses
