Title: Shortening cervix
Post by: Alissaluvsdogs on September 20, 2018 at 11:04 AM
Hey guys,
I’m new here and this is my first pregnancy. I just got back from my MFM appointment and my cervix was down to 3.1cm at 22+6 weeks. I went into labor and delivery just two days ago on Monday for some spotting and they told me my length was 4.3cm. Since then I’ve been having a lot of cervical pressure and Braxton Hicks but I wasn’t concerned. I started having measurements at 18 weeks and I’ve never been below 4.1cm. I’m just really scared that it’s going down so fast. The MFM doesn’t want to see me back for 3 weeks and I’m not currently on restricted activity. Should I seek a second opinion?

I'm sorry that I somehow missed your post. I hope you'll let us know how you have been these past few weeks. Any pressure or contractions?
