Unfortunately,  I don't have anything profound to say that could make you feel better. But I can tell you the truth:  it gets better!  A simular thing happened to me in august when I was pregnant with my twin boys at 19/20 weeks. It will all be worth it once they are delivered safely. Don't beat yourself up too bad. You may be a l&d nurse but your also human like the rest of us! Just do what your husband says and "bake!" :)

Im glad ur hanging in there! When I was on bed rest after my cerclage I read reviews all day too! Another fun thing is finding sites that offer free samples and sign up for them.by the time I finished 3 mod of bed rest I had boxes of free formula, diapers, pads & other random stuff! It was fun opening packages everyday....gave me something to look forward to!

Congrats on the recent pregnancy & making it as far as you have!

i had a cerclage placed at 20 weeks and even though its hi risk to have one at 19+weeks, your doctors probably wouldn't try it if they didn't think you had a chance! My cerclage didn't take me to term, but it held me through long enough to have two little boys at 33 weeks! I'll be thinking about you and hopefully you can carry your little boy just as long as he needs you too!

I had my little boys!

I wish I could have held them to term, but bedrest allowed me to hold them just long enough to make them safe! I can't believe it was 13 weeks! The time flew by!

I ended up having an emergency c section because I was diagnosed with preclampsia during labor! The doctors were able to give me 2 steroid injections for the lungs! The babies came out crying! They didnt need to go to the childrens hospital and were able to breathe independantly! I am so proud of them for doing so well at only 33 weeks! The doctors are estimating that they will be able to go home within 2-3 weeks! It feels like a miracle!

thanks everyone for the good wishes, thoughts and prayers!

We named them Judah Lee (4lb 8 oz) & Jayden Edward (4lb 1oz).

hello everyone,,

im 32&5 with twin boys. after lots of complications, an emergent cerclage at 20 weeks and 12 weeks and 6 days of bed rest, im sad and happy to say my end is nearing. sunday evening i was admited to hospital with pprom, water pouring down myh legs. doctors gave me my first dose of steriods and aftger a maximu dosae of magnesium and some morphine my pain and contractions have slowed. i will get my 2nd dose of steriods for babies at 4am tonight and soon after my cerclage will be removed & they will allow my labor to continue, theres not much fluid left as both sacs are ruptured.

so by wednesday Judah Lee&Jayden Edward should be here and at 24 ill be a first time mommy of two.my goal was 34 weeks and on wed i will have hopefullyh made it to 33 weeks.

i will send an update as soon as i deliver. im so happy ive had this site for encouragement. i remember being 20weeks and afraid id give early birth dying chilldren, now i have hope of two healthy boys.

I'm still here. After 11 Weeks on bedrest I will be 31 weeks tommorow with boy twins.
Went to a check up today. Everything is looking fine.
I have a non stress test and another  ultrasound next week.
I must say, the coolest thing about having twins is getting all these extra ultrasounds!
The goal is for me to make it to 34 weeks now,,,which is something since originally the doctors didnt think my cerclage would hold past 28weeks! Im really thankful!

Congrats to the girls that have had healthy babies!

Congrats on the pregnancy and making it this far!

I understand all too about leaving work without much notice and feeling guilty. I went in to a doc appointment at 20 weeks for a routine visit and ended up on bedrest until i deliver. the bad thing about it is I had just gotten a promotion at my job TWO days before! So I felt  really bad! 11 Weeks later, i still feel bad! There's nothing you can do! this may sound selfish,  but your child needs you more than those kids need you right now!

Stay off your feet! Get lots of rest! And enjoy!

to niclroc...

I had the same problem with asking questions originally...eventually i started writing my questions down or typing them in my cell phone so that i can remember what it is i want to say and how i mean to say it! hopefully you can start getting some good answers! I know it can make things rougher to not quite understand whats going on! Good luck!

I am still here! 29 weeks, 5 days with two awesome twin boys! This is my 10th week of bedrest! Can't believe I have made it so long. Tuesday I start weekly Ob appointments&ultra sounds every 3-4. My doctors pay such close attention to my preganancy and it makes me feel like me and the boys are gonna be in very good hands!

I have had an amazing weekend! We had our baby shower. We literally got Everything off our registry so all I have to buy for my babys right now is a breast pump! I feel so blessed. Also, my boyfriend of 5 years proposed at the shower! It was so cute&I am incredibly excited! My spirits are defnitly lifted.

Congrats on the website! Even before I started posting on here, I would come here and read post from everyone. It was so comforting that eventually I drug up the courage to start writing my ownself! :) Its a very wonderful thing, and I always looek foward to mondays. I think the roll call is such a great idea. I love reading everything that everyone has going on that week!

Congrats to all the girls that are still making it&especially to the ones who have almost made it to the finish line!
