Yes, I'm trying my best to continue to rest but it's hard with three active older children who get bored easily..and I totally relate to your close and yet so far comment, I feel like I've been pregnant forever..it will almost be a shock to have an actual baby at the end of all this!

They did check my cervical length at the 19 week mark but it was all completely normal. However something happened in the meantime and I had a tiny tiny bleed at around 23 weeks. I wasn't concerned as I could feel movement and I'd had some bleeding earlier in the pregnancy and it had been fine. But when I told my ob a day or so later she said she wanted to be conservative and sent me for an immediate scan. Thank goodness for her as that was when they found my cervix had shortened dramatically over a space of a few weeks! I will always be very grateful to her for saving my Bub, as I think if I had been in the public system they may not have been so thorough.
