Hello mama's,  so you all know I ended up in the hospital early Friday morning due to leaking fluid,  prom. So Saturday night I started with severe menstrual cramps with tightening in the vagina.  That went on after 2 visteril and morphine. Nothing helped.  They decided to take cerclage out. Went from 2cm to 7 cm immediately. From there I was rushed to the OR, my husband had made right when they stared to shave me. Emergency C-section done due to baby being breech. Isaiah Eden made his grand entrance on Sunday 11/13/2016 at 4:04am.  He weighs 4lbs and 4 0z 19 inch long born at 31.4 weeks.  He's doing great. Started with formula feed today. They want to take him off the oxygen tomorrow.  He is so precious.  I'm doing good. Just that c section pain, man,  lets just say I don't miss any pain meds doses. God bless you all ladies (:

Hey Ladies, well I was contracting a bit last night and also noticed an increase in discharge. So off to the hospital we go. They check me and said cervix closed and cerclage in place and discharge was most likely from cerclage.  So they were discharging me and I went to the restroom, went to wash my hands and felt like a trickle.  I told the nurse and she said "oh its probably the gel from exam". I told her no I am leaking.  So they place me back in exam room, did amnisure test this time and it was positive.  So they stared Mag., ABX and I have been admitted.  The plan is deliver at34 weeks if no signs of iinfection.  So about two weeks. Just received my last of two steroids the other day so that worked out. Currently no sign of infection praise God. I have heard of prom but I didn't know it could happen with closed cervix and cerclage. I hope all you mama's are doing well. (:

Hey mama's,  went in today for growth scan, I went today due irriation,  so I was a week early.  All is well. It felt so good to get out. I actually dressed up, put make up on and walked into the office. I usually dont do no walking.  MD said I can move a little more so I will in moderation. I received a steroid shot today and will get the second tomorrow.  Its their protocol.  Looks like cerclage will be removed at 36+. Cervix is still the same, thin, closed and cerclages still intact (:    Karen congrats, on your bundle of joy. I bet he's so handsome.  (:

Hey Ladies, I'll be 31 weeks tomorrow. All is well I had a few contractions on Saturday most of the day, but none that were more than 4 or 6 an hour. I read Braxton hicks are more frequent at this time. They weren't painful if so I would have went in. I have a appointment next week with MFM, it would be good to see babies weight and cervix measurement
.Annelise, may God continue to keep you and your little one.  Cyavca, your moving right along, i know the hospital can be rough especially when there is family at home waiting for you. But look on the bright side its only temporary. I did 7 weeks there and by the 5th I was like, ok time for a change of scenery. But I just kept saying this too shall pass. Well ladies God bless you all on this great journey!  (:

We come this far by faith, congrats! I was released from the hospital at 28.5, after being there for 7 weeks.  When you guys are released,  I will just say take it easy and don't over do it. I've been home for 3 weeks now. I still have my BSC and I would have my husband pack lunch and snack during the day when their gone. Last week I started walking to the kitchen to get hot food, but I do that in moderation. Well God bless you guys, have a great week.

Hey SaraStars, I will say to you Pray. I too at a lost last year at 17.6 weeks when membranes were bulging with a rescue cerclage. I am pregnant now and took all precautions starting at 10 weeks and shots p17 at 16 weeks,  and bedrest. At 15 weeks I started funneling at 18 weeks membranes were at beginning bulging.  MFM at the hospital a teaching hospital got with my new MFM bc he wasn't sure want to do. I've always stayed in prayer, at 18.4 I had a new one put in like fishing string and the other the one like shoe string revised. I did ended up back in the hospital at 21 wreaths thought I would deliver soon. But when checked manually both cerclages were in place and cervix closed. I took bedrest serious only up to bedside commode and kept bed T-berg. I was in the hospital for 8 weeks.  Home now still on bedrest,  I walk a little around the room. So to answer your question I had a second one place with all the risk but I never lost faith in God and worked it out in my favor. God bless (:

Other than that I'm still on bedrest. Stillexpecting,  thank you for the sermon last week (:. Karen thats awesome you'll meet your little man any day now. To all us other mom's keep cooking that baby sounds like most of us are past 24 weeks and that's great. May God continue to be with us all, God bless (:

Hey Christened, I give you my condolences.  The situation is hard, I lost my daughter last year at 17 .6 after my water broke,  infection had sat in. I have always been a church goer, but never really knew the word. So I tell you this trust in God. He will keep you. I went back and fourth about the death of my daughter having good days and bad ones. I have Pcos and it took 2yrs to become pregnant with her. I just felt like my chances of having another baby was over. But I let go and let God. I found out I was pregnant in May of this year, almost 7 month's later. At thus time I had already switched mfm and he was very proactive.  Cerclage at 10 weeks, meds and bedrest.  Been on bedrest since June.  I say this to say God I feel prepared me for my next blessing.  With my daughter I didn't realize the severity,  funneling,  being 1cm dilated and my MFM than let me go back to work 2 weeks later. This time I know what I had to do. God bless you and your family at this time. I have lifted you up in prayer (:

Welcome carida80, I did have pre-e in my first pregnancy it was towards the end. I am on bedrest also due to IC. I was in the hospital for 7 weeks and yes it was hard being away from my family.  But I always trust un God and think it's only temporary.  I too was dx with GD while hospitalized. I take insulin at night bc of my fasting numbers, after eating there not too bad at all. Well stay positive, and remember its only temporary and at the end you'll have your bundle of joy (:

I forgot to mention, THANK YOU Angela so much for this site. I will definitely donate soon as my funds get back stable, one thing about bed rest, one individual is working while the other only gets a percentage of their pay. But its all good, I won't complain.  But I give you my WORD you will get a donation from me (:

Hey mama's,  I'm 28.6 today and came home on Friday after being on hospital bedrest for 7 weeks.  I am excited to behome. I missed my family. The only tthing I kind of miss about the hospital is the hot meals. At home I'm by myself for about 6 hours through the week, so my husband packs snacks, fruits, salads and sandwich with a cooler, so I dont have to walk to the kitchen.  But on a good note my sugars have been good, lower than the hospital numbers. (: My sleep has been amazing with no interruptions. What keeps me positive and uplifted is my faith in God. I always remember he will never leave me nor forsake, and when something happens,  like the dx og gestational diabetes I just say this too shall pass. I f/u with the MFM at 32 weeks so hopefully then I will be able to move, walk a little more. God bless all of you here, keep the faith and keep them babies cookin!
