Hi Everyone:

Just to update my story. I went into labor at 31 and 5 days and had my son at 31 and 6 days last year January. We stayed in the NICU for 30 days as a feeder and grower and he is doing amazing. To others on bed rest. Keep the faith and I pray you keep em cooking. Just wanted to encourage someone. I cried so hard when I went into labor. I was on bed rest, makena and yet still went into labor. Somethings cannot be explained and we just have to let go.

Want to thank Angela and the live chats. They keep me company  every week.

Hugs and much love,

I am so sorry for your loss. Praying for peace, comfort and healing. Been there and its tough. Please do seek support. Hugs and so much love.

Im so glad your baby is still cooking. Our babies are still cooking. 27 weeks today. My only thought also was the c section, but there are no studies supporting this. There is an increased rate of IC if there is prolonged pushing prior to c section, but we both didn't push.

I do feel more contractions too when I am more active. I try to stay in bed more or be a couch potatoe. Also drinking lots of water and using colace.

You should join the live chat 2pm EST on Tuesdays. Its for an hour.

Happy Holidays and I pray that the good tidings of this season bless us with healthy full term babies.  :)

My story is similar to yours. I had a completely normal first pregnancy with normal cervical lengths reading my medical records. CS at term secondary to non reassuring heart beat. Second pregnancy, I went in at 18 weeks for increased discharge and I was 6cm dilated. Rescue cerclage  failed, i ruptured and lost my daughter. My OB ans mfm said I had and still have no risk factors. Currently pregnant again with a cerclage on bed rest.

Sometimes in medicine things can't be explained and it does bother us a lot. Do take it one day atba time, bed rest and progesterone. There is nothing else you can do now. Praying you make it as far as possible. Positive thoughts and vibes.

Hi Everyone:

I'm new here. Joined the live chat today and it was great talking to other people walking the walk on bedrest.

My story. I had a normal uncomplicated pregnancy. 2nd preganancy ended at a loss at 19 weeks - painless cervical dilation. Cerclage attempted and failed.  My world has never been the same.

With this pregnancy. Preventative cerclage at 12 weeks. 2.5 cm at 16 weeks - light duty modified bed rest, 20 weeks 1.13 cm at bedrest for real.

Currently 24 weeks, reading all the stories on this forum give me so much hope. Praying to carry to term. Trying to keep occupied and not worry much. Taking it one day at a time.

Do share your stories. Will keep you ladies updated.

Have a happy  thanksgiving  :)
