I'm in a very similar situation. Turning 24 weeks tomorrow but was hospitalized at 23 weeks for incompetent cervix, 2cm dilated and membrane showing. I have no pain, no contractions and although I feel leaking they tested and said it was not the amniotic fluid. This week has been the hardest week of my life, laying here in the hospital with a million thoughts running through my mind. All I can do is pray, hope and have faith God will care for me and my son. I know they used to put people on strict bedrest with the bed in trendelenberg but that hasn't been done now- most doctors at hospitals want you to get up and walk to the bathroom so you don't get a blood clot. Let me know if you need a friend! We can always talk 😁

I was placed on vaginal suppositories of progesterone about a week ago...I have an appointment for a sonogram coming up but i wanted to know how long until it takes to work. I'm a day shy of 23 weeks and very nervous about having a 1.4cm cervix with funneling. I was also placed on bedrest...ugh Ijust want this to work!

This is great news! Thank you

Hi, I am a first time mom...I've had a difficult pregnancy- hemmhorraged 3 times, marginal placenta previa but since has been resolved. Baby was doing great and growing! Then, at 22 weeks they discovered my cervix which was almost 5cm at 14 weeks went down to 1.4cm!! And funneling- they put me on bedrest right away and just like that my life feels so different. I was a full time nurse working overnight at a busy hospital and now I'm bedridden. I feel scared, hopeful, bored, achy and rested all at once. I'm looking for someone out there with the same situation who is looking to chat and help support one another. Let me know!

I am 22 weeks pregnant and just put on bedrest for a short cervix with cervix was 1.4cm at longest. So now I'm home, on bedrest with progesterone suppositories. I have also read a lot of success stories and am keeping the faith. I hope we both make it past 33 weeks to keep our babies cooking!!
