Hello! I'm thinking we may get reports of a few full-term deliveries this week! It really is possible ladies. You can do it too! All the hard work of bedrest is so very worth it, whether it means a few extra months or a few extra days. Every day counts!

So, what's going on this week? Any appointments? Anything special to look forward to?

Making the Best of Bed Rest / Monday Roll Call for December 6

Hello, my dears!
Anything new to share since last week? Any OB appointments this week?

Is anyone having trouble with being on bedrest around the holidays? I remember feeling kind of left out at times. I debated going to a Christmas party when I was on bedrest, but the host promised me I could have the whole couch to myself. :) So, I laid there on my side, and people came over to me, and though I felt a little strange I was really happy I went. What can YOU do to still be a part of the planning and the festivities?

Making the Best of Bed Rest / Monday Rollcall: Giving Thanks
« on: November 22, 2010 at 07:33 AM »
Holidays on bedrest can be especially difficult emotionally. There are probably places you won't be going this Thanksgiving Day, and family you won't see. But maybe you've come up with (or can come up with) a way to still make the day special. Feel free to use this forum to vent about your frustrations and/or tell us what you're doing to keep your spirits up.

What are you thankful for? And, of course, how many weeks are you? Any appointments last week to share, or appointments this week to look forward to?

Making the Best of Bed Rest / It's the Monday Roll Call! 10-11-10
« on: October 11, 2010 at 08:42 AM »
Happy Monday everyone!

You know I want to hear everything that is going on with you, but first I wanted to share why today is a special day. First, it's my birthday, but more important it was two years ago today that I announced to my friends and family that I was going to launch a website where moms on bedrest could connect with each other and where all pregnant women could learn the signs of preterm labor.

Many thanks to all of YOU who have provided such amazing support to one another! What a great group of women I've had the privilege to get to know! Looking forward to the many many years ahead of connecting with you all every day. We CAN prevent preterm birth.

So give us an update, ladies. How many weeks are you? Any OB appointments this week? And, did we have any deliveries last week?

How are all you amazing ladies doing? September is almost over, and here you are! Your dedication to your babies is wonderful.

So tell us, how many weeks are you? What are you looking forward to this week? Any visits from friends, or OB appointments?

And just for fun, share with us which TV shows and DVDs you are watching. I'm completely devoted to Mad Men, which had an incredible episode last night! You can download the episode on iTunes. I was also thrilled to see the season premiere of 30 Rock. I literally laugh out loud with that! And that is available at NBC.com. How about all of you?
