« on: May 19, 2011 at 05:47 PM »
so I'm 24 wks now, so i got my first FFN test today...I'm biting my nails waiting for results which I should have tonight...ugh.  My cervical length is 2.7 (eeek) and if the test is positive I will be admitted for steroid shots tonight...if negative then just bedrest...help me put everything in perspective, gals...thats not the worst cervical length is it??   i know it's not good!

I've been as low as 1cm & 2.6cm and have never had a positive ffn... so NO! That's not the worst CL imaginable! Hang in there!  ;)
Due date: 7/7/2011
Twins (we're not finding out the sexes!)
5th pregnancy (5yrs old-put on bedrest with her @ 35wks for PIH)
3 previous losses
Put on bedrest this pregnancy @ 17weeks for Cervical shortening & preterm labor
Thanking God for each day I'm given with my twins!

My cervix has been 1.4cm since 22 weeks.  I've had a positive fFN (four weeks ago) with a negative fFN after it.  I'm 33 weeks 3 days today, and as of Monday I was 3cm dilated, 80% effaced, and baby was at -1 station...

On top of all that, I'm having contractions that'll make you want to slap your Mama.

I'm telling you all this because really, ALL my signs have pointed to having a baby weeks ago..yet he's still baking away.

I think it boils down to the baby's going to come when your body just decides it's time for the baby to come.  Rest up, drink tons, and try not to stress (I know, trust me, that that's a whole heck of a lot easier said than done).

Even if you get a positive fFN that doesn't mean you're 100% going to go into labor.  Try not to let it scare you if it is. :)
