Gadgets to make bedrest more comfortable
« on: November 14, 2011 at 10:47 AM »
My hubby bought me the Table Mate II this weekend. It’s great! It tucks in under the bed like a hospital bed tray and you can adjust the height and incline as needed so that you can use it at the couch as well. It makes working on my laptop a lot easier.

Anyway, it made me wonder what other folks use to make bedrest a bit more comfortable. The other thing that I like is a portable massager that I use to relieve my restless legs.

What’s your favorite bedrest gadget?

I'm on week 15 of strict bed rest.  My birthday was the week after I was put on bed rest and my husband got me an iPad. I couldn't have gotten through this without it!!!!

DH got me a laptop a week after I went down as an early Christmas present, I'm not sure if it was more for his sanity or him ;).  I've used it to Christmas shop, get stuff for the baby, work on my business, and I got a City Building game I used to play all the time and its helped sooo much.
