Stretch mark tip
« on: April 05, 2012 at 05:13 PM »
Just wanted to pass this along.  I am currently 32+2 with twin boys who are measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule.  I am 30 and this is my first pregnancy.  My belly is measuring about 46cm already.  All my weight gain is in my belly, or so everyone keeps telling me.  Anyway every morning I put a spoonful of Vitamin E skin oil in the palm of my hand, 5 pumps of ultra healing lotion, make a mixture and slather it all over my belly.  Vitamin E oil is very sticky and does not spread well on its own.  I've been doing this since December.  It does not stain your clothes and I always wear a tight fitting cami under my maternity shirt.  Long story short, I have zero stretch marks!!!  I have had two doctors and several nurses that have seen it ask me "where are your stretch marks"?  Well I am either just lucky and have stretchy skin or the oil is working.  My mom used this same trick and also has zero marks.   Just an FYI.  Not that we all don't have more important things to worry about  :D
