Will be 37 weeks with the twins tomorrow. 90% effaced, 2cm dialated, baby A at +2 station.  Not much planned this week other than appointments.  will be scheduling my induction on Friday for over the weekend or next week.  Doc said she won't let me go past 38 weeks with the size the babies are.  Lots of pain this week.  right hip feels like it's going to pop out of socket and everytime the babies move I feel like I'm being stabbed to death from the inside out.  Pesky little boys..

Still cookin, Wednesday will be 10 weeks on bedrest and Friday I will be 28 weeks along! Not much planned this week other than my appointment with my specialist on Wednesday. My oldest graduates from Kindergarten next Monday so at my Wednesday appointment I'm gonna ask my doc if she thinks its ok for me to attend the graduation. I'm sure it won't last more than an hour and I will be sitting the whole time so hopefully she says yes. It will kill me to miss it! I'm a stay at home mom and normally I'm at school all of the time substituting and helping out. I miss all the kiddos !! I'm also looking forward to Sunday, my family is getting together to bbq for Mother's Day. We always have a good time together. Won't be able to help out with the cooking this year but my mom and sister are doing all of the side dishes and the men will BBQ. Yummy, they are all excellent cooks! Hope everyone has a good week and a Happy Mother's Day !!  ;D

28w2d today!!  next milestone is reaching the 30s.

question for you ladies... do you feel like you live in a constant state of paranoia, questioning every "sensation" you feel?  i hate that aspect of bed rest, and the pressure it places on you to be THE ONE that alerts the doctor when something is not right.  just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat.

congratulations to all for making it another week!

Still here - 30 weeks 3 days. I have now done 6 weeks of hospital bed rest. Cervix is holding strong at about 7mm. I feel like time has really slowed down this past week and I am really missing my son and being home and living a normal life. I have been having a lot of cramping with low back pain this week and it's so hard not to sit there and focus on every single twinge of pain when you are stuck alone in a hospital room. On a lighter note my husband and son are coming to stay the night this weekend ( we live 2 hrs away from the hospital) and we are going to celebrate mothers day together!!!

33 weeks and 6 days today. I was on hospital bed rest for 6 weeks and will be on home bed rest until 36 weeks. It is so fantastic to be home with my husband and daughter. I go to see my midwife tomorrow and hope she will put me on modified bed rest instead of strict!

Good job hanging in there, ladies!

Reached 31 weeks yesterday!  5 weeks to go before my OB takes me off bed rest.  I've only been on bed rest for 5 weeks, I keep telling myself 5 more weeks will fly by.  I'm picking out birth announcements, and adding some final things to the baby registry for the shower we'll have after the little one arrives (My mom already threw me one, but my fiances mom is throwing a second one!).  Also, sending the fiance to the public library to stock up on books for me.  I can only stare at this dang computer screen for so long.  Made an appointment for a car seat inspection and also contacted my local La Leche League to see about breast feeding support.  This forum has been such a help!  So glad I found it!  Congrats to all the ladies keepin em cookin!

34w3d and getting more and more paranoid about every little pain or discomfort. Stopped t progesterone pessaries 4 days ago and think i'm finally feeling t braxton hicks contractions, or at least i'm telling myself that's what they are. Never felt any of this before. Had some 'period pain' for a few hours a couple of days ago and felt pressure and like i wanted to push - but didn't push obviously! A friend told me it soundes like real contractions, but i've had worse period pain and this was constant pain for a few hours. Am so sick of bedrest and wonder if being so strict is going to make any difference. Trying to stay positive... My partner is going to have a nervous breakdown soon! I'll give myself till week 36 before i get up, if i can make it to week 36. One day at a time. Every day counts right?!
first pregnancy, IC - due to Lletz in 2010?
progesterone pessaries since wk 22 - cervix 1.6cm
bedarrest since wk 24 - cervix measure 1.4cm
hospital strict bedarrest at wk 26 - cervix 8mm
back at home, strick bedarrest since week 28 - cervix 1cm
cervix dilated 2cm at week 35

36 +2 today!  Was expecting to have cerclage out today, however, my doctor decided to leave it in until 37 weeks as it is holding strong and not under any strain.  I am also completely off bed rest now!  Just ate lunch sitting at the kitchen table!   :)
First pregnancy
Bed rest at 21 weeks due to incompetent cervix. Healthy boy at 38 weeks!

Second pregnancy
Cerclage at 14 weeks, no bed rest, healthy baby girl at 38 weeks/6 days

Third pregnancy

Still here, and things have quieted down.
I was really nervous about the contractions I was having last weekend, and thinking I was losing my mucus plug. It is possible I lost some plug, but my doc found bacterial vaginosis, so that could have been the source of goo and maybe contributed to contractions. Back on Flagyl for that. Had a dr appt that showed only one contraction while on toco and that I brought on by sneezing. Cervix is still long and closed tight, no tension on the cerclage, so I feel much better. Barely having any contractions the last few days.
I am also glad to be into the 24th week when baby has a better chance of survival if born. Optimistic right now that we will make it longer. Aiming for 28 weeks, then the 30 week goal. Never made it to 32 weeks with my son, so that will be a true test.
Preemie momma
Expecting #2:
-Hemi-uterus
-Cerclage at 13.5 weeks
-Progesterone shots weekly
-Subchorionic hemorrhage at 15 weeks
-Bed rest since 13.5 weeks and counting....

35 and 3/7th, on bed rest since 24 with a shorten cervix, funneling and preterm labor. 4 CM, 80 percent effaced, and Zero station. My MD told me that she would not "let" me go passed 38 weeks and I laughed at her. I told her there was no way I would agree to an induction. They are both head down so I am looking forward to a vaginal delivery. I have two awesome doula's in place for the birth. I stop letting them check me at 32 weeks because it tells you nothing of when you will actually go into labor and it hurts. Plus they keep saying it can stir things up. Well I don't want stir anything. LOL

I have to say I am bored. I have kept myself busy but now just ugh. My son is back at preschool three days a week and I miss him a lot. He at least played in bed with me a lot. And people were here to help so I had buddies.

I have my cloth stash set, wraps in place and clothes good to go!!
