My advice would be: Think of how difficult it would be if you as a dad were on bedrest. Relying on others can be really hard for some people. Leave her presents that she would enjoy to fill up the hours. "Lying around all day" may sound like a luxury, but it's hard on the body. Offer massages for those sore muscles.

My hubby and I are like two peas in a pod.  One of of us is the peas, the other the pod.  *smile*
Actually, we spend so much time together and go everywhere together and see each other for lunch.  Now, that I am on bedrest, I love it when he tells me he misses me and it's just not the same.  And, he's only going to the grocery store.

Of course, I like that he takes me to my appointments and attends all of them.
