Happy New year!

Introduce yourself, or give us an update. How many weeks are you? Why are you on bed rest or why is your pregnancy high-risk? What are you looking forward to most in 2010? Any resolutions?

Fill us in!

Hi All,
Not on bed rest, but I note this post has been read 22 times, so I'll be happy to say HI!

My goals are to continue what I'm doing, work on my blog, & upcoming website, as well as get through some major paperwork & cleaning out. I seem to have a little window of time right now to make that happen.

Christy  :)

I wish more ladies were posting, but you are right Christy, it IS great that people are reading the posts. Hoping this forum can be an inspiration to many! Ladies, you WILL get through bed rest. Remember, this is just one moment in your life.

My goals for 2010 are to get more sleep and to have a dance party with my 1 year old and 4 year old every day! Our dance party gets us though the looooong afternoons! And, I can usually work in some toning exercises. Four months of pregnancy bed rest did NOT help my abs. ;+)

I like something you said before, Angela: "remember, it's only temporary", (when referring to bed rest).

I like your goals. More sleep is good for everyone & a dance party is TOTALLY necessary. You can act silly & have fun too!

Something I did about a 1 1/2 ago is I just started reading more. I had forgotten how much I loved to read. There's always the Internet with tons of information, but I missed a regular ole' book. Can we call it that now? ...."back in the day....we used to read books".   :P  I just finished reading The Soloist by Steve Lopez. It's about a homeless man on Skid Row, who is an incredible musician. He is discovered by a columnist who sheds light on the mental illness that shattered this man's dreams.

If someone is on bed rest & interested in reading it, I'd be happy to send it to them.
