Hi everyone, a long and tough pregnancy journey is over, on Wednesday, August 28 our little Isabel was born. She had to be delivered early via scheduled c-section since she was breech and they diagnosed us with IUGR (so the cervical incompetence which I was on bedrest for for 14 weeks was not the reason for the early delivery!).
She weighed 4.8 lbs and she is 17.7 inches long. She did not need any NICU time, she is very healthy and we couldn't be happier!! The dreaded c-section was as horrible as I had feared though and the recovery is much more painful than after my first daughter (natural birth) but I am slowly feeling better now. I am so thankful to have found this forum it helped me get through a very hard time knowing I am not alone. I wish everybody still on bedrest good luck and the same happy outcome!
