Monday Roll Call for April 20, 2015
« on: April 20, 2015 at 09:01 AM »
How are all you amazing mommies doing?  Let us know how many weeks you are and if you have any appointments scheduled this week. I'm looking forward to your updates!

I hope to see you all on the Live Chat tomorrow at 2 pm Eastern, in our new location: Click on the white box on the bottom right that says "CHAT." Feel free to log on before then to test it out. Our topic is keeping your relationship strong while on bedrest, although discussion on any topic is welcome. Our guest is Parijat Deshpande, who is a professional health and wellness counselor.

And finally, a quick reminder about the KeepEmCookin “Go Mobile” fundraiser here: I can't do this alone.

I'm still pregnant and sadly still vomiting. I lost 5 lbs at my last appointment from my HG. My doctor told me that the most she can do is sweep my membranes at 38 weeks (this coming Thursday) and then schedule an induction date for 39 weeks.

I can't believe we are even using the words induction at this point.

I am 3cm and 80% effaced so hoping I go on my own in the next week, but holy cow. Now that we stopped him from coming out, he wants to stay in'

Right there with Bmoor.  Also talking induction over here due to IUGR.  :(  My 38 week appointment is on Friday.  If Baby hasn't grown in the last 2 weeks or if amniotic fluid is low, they will recommend "immediate delivery".  :(

My OB says, best case scenario is spontaneous delivery during week 38.  Recommends induction during week 39.  Will not let me go past 40 weeks because of increased stillborn risk.

What else can go wrong at this point?!  I'm so frustrated!  False labor for a few days...  now nothing.  Still at 3 cm dilated and 100% effaced....  nothing happening.

Physically VERY uncomfortable.  All my plans for being active after getting off activity restrictions are gone.  I've spent more time in bed since getting off bed rest than while I was on bed rest!!  :(
