Monday Roll Call for January 23, 2017

"I learned that we can do anything, but we can't do everything... at least not at the same time. So think of your priorities not in terms of what activities you do, but when you do them. Timing is everything."
--Dan Millman

And this is your time to cook! Let everything else fall aside ... for now.

So tell me what is new, ladies! What are you looking forward to this week? As always, let us know how many weeks along you are.

Keep 'em cookin',

What I'm hoping for the week is for everything to go smoothly,  so I can be 1 more week along. I am 21 weeks + 5 today. I have my first appointment with the maternal fetal specialist who put my emergency cerclage in 11 days ago on Wednesday. I'm hoping that goes well. I love feeling my little girl kick. I hope everyone is doing well.

Sorry I missed yesterday.  I was in hospital for the fifth time.  Blood pressure was high, I was seeing floaters, had chest pain.  They checked labs and sent me home...I'm so tired.  I report concerning symptoms, and get sent home each time.  I'm glad to get sent home, I don't want my baby born at 30 weeks.  They are leaning toward delivery at 37 weeks if everything remains stable.  They were talking of delivering at 34 weeks, but I saw a doctor that specializes in cord and placenta issues, and she though everything looked stable with the varix on the cord.  I'd like him cooking as long as possible, but I don't want to hold off too long for the cord to rupture and I find out it's too late.  I'm more comfortable around 35-36 weeks...I am leaving it in God's hands and he can tell doctors when the right time for delivery is... I'm really having a hard time enjoying this pregnancy with everything that's going wrong!  I just want a healthy baby!  Prayers are appreciated!

Hi All, I've been part of this group for almost 4 weeks. I'm complete placenta previa and had my first bleed at 27 weeks. Kept spotting consistently for a few weeks, things settled, and then another bleed at 30+3. So back on complete bed rest and really hoping to make it a few more weeks.

I'm in the hospital in a different province so I haven't been able to see my son in almost a month and I'm not sure when I will get to see him again. That is the hardest part.

BUT I've made it this far and each day is a huge accomplishment for all of us on this site. Good Luck to everyone.

30 weeks with chronic abruption.  Bleeding from last week finally stopped but thought my water broke (it didn't, guess I wet myself  ????).  Working on an embroidery stocking for baby boy and it's going slow.  Seeing my doctors in a few days and hopefully they'll give me a better idea of when/how I'll deliver if it doesnt happen early.  Hoping for 37 weeks, so over this pregnancy.  Just found out the house we're building probably wont be done before baby is born so looking forward to moving with a premie...

I had an appointment on Monday with my MFM for cervical length check. The cerclage is working! I had an emergent cerclage placed at 24.4 with dialation and funneling. Monday I measured 2.76 and the funneling is basically gone. I am still on strict bedrest, 6 weeks and counting but it's worth it!  I am praying for all the amazing women on this forum to reach their next milestones. I will reach 26 weeks on Thursday. Good luck ladies and thank you!!
