Polar Bear
« on: March 03, 2017 at 12:50 PM »
Hi..

I'm 18 weeks with a cerclage that was placed at 12 wks.  Am on bed rest at home, and cervix length is about 2.5cm...

Was reading about the Polar Bear  position today and how it is good for taking pressure off cervix.  Has anyone been told otherwise though...?

Keen to do it a lot....  but only if it's certain to not have a negative effect

Thanks!

I am almost 14 weeks on bed rest as well with a cerclage placed at 12 weeks. What is the polar bear position? I often wonder about the best positions while being horizontal.

If you Google....you will see pictures.
Bassically on your knees with head down on floor...

Ive been using pillows during day to put body from pelvis down at a slight tilt...not sure if its because of that or not... but cervix had grown a bit at last measure
