Monday Roll Call for April 23, 2018

Happy Monday, ladies. I'm looking forward to your updates!

I have an exciting update today. I have co-authored a children's book. It's called "Stuck In Bed: The pregnancy bed rest picture book for kids ... and moms." It's about a boy whose mom is on bed rest and the questions he has, which are then answered optimistically by his mom. It's playful and fun, and then there are tips for moms for making the most of this time together. The Launch Party is Wednesday, and we'll have giveaways and will be reading the book live. You can find out more on Facebook: Here's a link to it on Amazon:

How have all of you been? What's coming up this week that you are looking forward to?

Keep 'em cookin', mamas!

We are celebrating 23 weeks today   :D

Fairly stable weekend after a very rough week of preterm labor last week.  Baby doing well,  my next check will be on Wednesday so hopefully I won't be anymore dilated.  Bad news is i'm pretty sure i've been losing my mucus plug the past few days but we are grateful to have made it this far.

@Angela, congrats on your book!!

23+5 here, only 2 more days until the 24 week mark. It's such a relief, and yet not that much of a relief because I'm still worried about a micro preemie at this stage.

But my last cervical check at 23 weeks showed I was still at 31mm, so I'm "off the hook" so to speak without more checks or any further treatment or restrictions at this point. I go back in 5 weeks for a growth scan, but that's it.

I have been feeling slight contractions here and there almost daily (just a few here and there, nothing painful and nothing steady), which is how it was with my 34 weeker, so that makes me a bit nervous. I didn't feel hardly any with my first (full term) the whole pregnancy. I think it's normal to feel them more with subsequent children though? Otherwise, no other signs of labor.

Congrats on the book Angela!
