I love this suggestion to turn to music. A happy/care-free song that came to mind is Elton John's "Your Song." I have good memories of belting this one out with my roommates, when I was in school a decade ago. I also love the positivity of the line "how wonderful life is, now you're in the world" which points me towards hope, in my current state, for the baby to come.
22 weeks today. I had a follow-up anatomy scan 3 days ago and placenta previa is still complete. A subchorionic hematoma that went away on my scan a month ago is now back and bigger than before. I'm still bleeding daily, throughout the days/nights. But the good news is that the baby seems to be growing well and hanging in there! I keep telling myself to hang in there, too!! Sending positive thoughts to the rest of you, who are doing the same!
