Monday Roll Call for October 8, 2018
« on: October 08, 2018 at 12:00 PM »
Happy Monday!

I hope each of you will schedule something today to anticipate, and then tell us what you did. For example:

*Order a new book/movie/game that you have been wanting.
*Have a great friend bring you lunch or dinner from a favorite place.
*Ask someone to finally take care of that thing around the house that has been driving you crazy but you just haven't felt comfortable asking.

Remember that you are an important person doing an important job!  Don't hesitate to ask for the care and attention you need.   :)

If you're reading this, I hope you will post a message here. Something as simple as telling us how far along you are and how long you've been on bed rest helps other moms to know they aren't alone in this. Keep 'em cookin', mamas!

Hi All,
I started bedrest mid-September at 18 weeks pregnant due to a dynamic cervix and it quickly became worse...September 26/27, I was admitted for an emergency cerclage and the procedure was the next morning after we ruled out any infection. I was 2-3 cm dialated with bulging membranes / water bag. The past few weeks I have spent time on bedrest learning more about the cervix and options and reading amazing success stories that have given me tremendous support/comfort. Thank you all for your inspiring stories...each day, each week are mini milestones. Tomorrow, I will be 21 weeks...praying and staying positive everyday. I am expecting twin girls and they are developing well. Best, Maria
