At 24 weeks I was told I had polyhydramnios, an excess of fluid. I also have a bicornuate uterus with baby in left horn, so baby only has half of my uterus to grow in. I’m 29 weeks and my cervix is currently 2.1 with cervical funneling. I’ve been on bedrest for 4 weeks and am on progesterone pills. We tried for 5 years to get pregnant.. what a crazy journey this is! Can’t wait to be a Momma and I know it’s all worth it, but some days it’s extremely difficult to stay positive. My current biggest fear besides preterm labor is the fact that my mfm specialist is 2 hours away, so if I go into labor I have to go to my local ob with no nicu and hope they can get me to my specialist in time. Has anyone else had any of these issues? I’d love any insight or personal stories. Thank you!
