Fluid in Cervical Canal?
« on: November 06, 2019 at 11:42 PM »
My doctor sent me for an ultrasound due to some brown discharge at 16.5 weeks. Cervix was closed and 44mm but the ultrasound tech said that there was a small pocket of fluid in my cervical canal and a blood vessell running along side it. I have my next scan Friday next week and they will be checking my cervix again to rule out vasa praevia and to make sure my cervix isn’t shortening or opening. Just wondering if anyone else had this as the first sign of something being wrong? And how do you cope with the wait between cervical length checks? Every twinge or pain sends me into overdrive. 18 weeks tomorrow and another week to get through before next scan.
