Pregnancy after Bedrest
« on: April 21, 2020 at 03:45 PM »
hi!!! Looking for advice:
First born, 32 weeks from PPROM
2nd born: progesterone, pre term labor (nifedipine, bedrest x 2 months) born at 38+ weeks
Unfortunately I feel that I don't have a super supportive OB, who just keeps saying I will have the same problem with a 3rd. Any success stories of actually having a normal birth with 2 pre term labor experiences?
Thank you!

Not quite the same situation but I’m a Keep ‘Em Cookin grad, class of 2016. lol
My son was born at 42+2 after being on strict bed rest from 24 weeks to when was born due to short cervix (measuring 18 mm at 24 weeks) and high blood pressure. He is now a happy, healthy 4 year old.

I am 38 weeks pregnant with #2 and this pregnancy has been very different. No blood pressure issues at and I’ve been in modified rest but cervix has held strong. Modified really been just keeping things low key, off exercise and such but I’ve been able to move around and live my life, though with COVID I’ve been working from home since mid-March. All that being said, this pregnancy has been so much easier.
